1. Infrastructure Revolution: We have transitioned from our old Node.js based infrastructure to a modern architecture written from scratch in the Go programming language. This change transforms K9Crypt in the following ways:
Increased Performance: Offering a faster and uninterrupted user experience.
Top-Tier Security: We are providing a more robust and leak-proof infrastructure that minimizes potential security vulnerabilities.
Enhanced Stability: We now present a more reliable system with fewer errors.
2. Account System: To bring to life the features you have long requested, we are introducing an account system. Your anonymity is our most fundamental principle. Therefore, in our new account system, we do not request any personal information (such as email, phone, etc.). You will be able to create an account with only a username and password.
This system will now make the following possible:
Editing and deleting messages
Kicking users from rooms
Many future innovations and personalization options
3. Administration System: To ensure the safety and order of our communities, we have defined an Admin role. Admin users will have the following authorities:
Evaluating user complaints and managing the process.
Editing general information of rooms (excluding passwords).
Changing only the usernames of users (for the purpose of preventing inappropriate content).
4. Our Own Encryption Protocol: To take the privacy of your data to the next level, we have developed our own proprietary encryption protocol, inspired by the philosophy of the Signal protocol. With this protocol, we guarantee that even in the worst-case scenario, your data cannot be read by third parties. Your privacy is an absolute priority for us.
